Red light cameras in NJ.?

Okay so im a new driver(been driving for like 3 months now) and have made my fair share of mistakes. But just a couple of hours ago I was on a 2 lane highway when an intersection came up. Ive been through here before but I wasnt really paying attention and ran a red. I dont know how I even did it I saw it was green then the next second I look up I saw red. Am I going to get a ticket from the red light camera? I heard that NJ turned off all of the cameras but im not quite sure and im shitting bricks. Def need to work on being more aware

"Def need to work on being more aware"

Damn straight you do! Instead of just a red light, what would have happened if there had been a kid in the crosswalk there when you blew through the stop light?

For a moment I thought that you were asking about CCTV cameras on the streets of a "red-light" district!

Hopefully if you pay a fine, you will start paying attention.

You can call your local Highway Patrol office and ask them about red light cameras in your area. Camera citations are unconstitutional. Go to court on it. Lookit: http://www.ungerandkowitt.com/traffic-ticket-blog/bid/125565/New-Ruling-Makes-Red-Light-Camera-Ticket-Unconstitutional
