Both are wrong. "A racehorse ate my paycheck" would be the way in the USA, but in Britain "A racehorse ate my pay cheque" is the way.
Certainly the word "racerhorse" does not exist.
If it was a particular horse, then "The racehorse ate...." But "racehorse" must be preceded by "a" or "the", or "that" if you are actually pointing at a particular horse (and then it would be simply "horse").
