The railways are almost always hiring for train crew. Good pay and they train you.

A part time job, where you put in only half of those hours. Of course that also means half the pay. Can you live on that?? I couldn't.

Firefighter. You do a 24 hour shifts at the fire house. Long blocks of time on duty, long blocks of time off duty.

There are 10 hr/4 day jobs, some jobs especially in hospitals that are 3 12s maybe or not with an additional 4 hr shift, and jobs with flextime

Yeah - start your own business. I hear you only have to work half a day. You get to decide whether you work the first half or the second half.

Pull yourself by your boot straps and be THANKFUL for a job instead of grousing about the job. Having food on the table and money in your pocket is a good thing.

Any shift with a revolving pattern, mine is 7am->7pm for 2 days then 7pm-> 7am for 2 nights then Four days off.
