To prevent Australian parties behaving so unstable why not have Federal elections every year?

Because that would make the country's politics even more unstable.

I agree with Clive. More frequent elections would tend to make politicians LESS stable.

So fork out more money to hold more elections TO deliver more of the same mess. Interesting concept!
