What are three important things that Jesus taught us to pray for?

In the Lord's prayer we ask for more than three things,
The kingdom of God to come on earth
Forgiveness of sins
Daily bread
Deliverance from evil

Of first importance, that we address our prayer to our Father in Heaven, and ask that His name be glorified (honoured, respected). Then that His Kingdom comes. Thirdly, that His will be done on Earth, as it is in Heaven.

1. Glorify our Father who is in heaven.
2. Forgiveness of sin.
3. Treat our brothers and sisters as we wish to be treated.

Matthew 6:9-12

9 “You must pray, then, this way: (1 Samuel 1:10;1 Thessalonians 5:17,25;Psalm 109:4)

“‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified.(Jehovah Psalm 83:13)

10 Let your Kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also on earth.(Matthew 24:14;Luke 8:1;2 peter 3:13)

11 Give us today our bread for this day;(Matthew 6:19-33)

12 and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors (John 3:16,17;Matthew 6:14)

Your kingdom come your will be done on this Earth as it is in heaven give us our daily bread and lead us not into temptation but instead Deliver Us From The Wicked one.

Importance is relative. What one person claims is most important another might claim is less important.

Just some examples of things that Jesus taught us to pray for:
- those who persecute you
- the "exorcising" demons (i.e. when "cleansing" someone who is possessed by a demon)
- that your flight not be in Winter
- that you not enter into temptation
- the coming of the Kingdom of God
- that the will of God be done on earth as it is in Heaven
etc.

1. Pray for him to forgive you of your sins
2. Pray for him to keep his angels over you
3. Pray that he has a speedy return(end times)

Everything that Jesus taught us to pray for is important.
