Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Yes. I learn something new every day. Today I learned:

"God uses us to make the knowledge about Christ spread everywhere like a sweet fragrance. For we are like a sweet-smelling incense offered by Christ to God, which spreads among those who are being saved and those who are being lost. For those who are being lost, it is a deadly stench that kills; but for those who are being saved, it is a fragrance that brings life."

Millions upon millions of people today have found it to be entirely relevant to them. It matters not what society, or culture they are in; the color of a person's skin has no bearing on the matter, for people of all nations, languages and tribes and tongues find the Bible to be powerfully effective and helpful to them today.

That is because the Bible was written in such a way that those who sincerely seek to please God find it to be true and deeply meaningful. Hebrews 4:12 explains that, "The word of God is living and powerful. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account."

People who turn to God's written word in sincerity find this to be staggeringly true, as God then deals with them as individuals, meeting their needs in Christ as they submit to the word of Christ.

The same Spirit who inspired the written word guides sincere searchers, as explained in 1 Corinthians 2:11-16. "No-one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us."

It goes on to explain that people without the Spirit do not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him and he cannot understand them, for they are spiritually discerned. To such people, the Bible is not relevant. But to those with the Holy Spirit, the Book is opened up and its relevance becomes deeper and deeper as they ponder it.

Very. God's words will never pass away. Atheists wish that Christianity will disappear, won't happen.

It's just as relevant today as it was when the prophets first began to write it, did you know the gospel of Jesus Christ began in the days of Adam and Eve, but they didn't have a bible and yet Seth and Enos taught baptism in the name of the Holy order of the Son Of God

Jesus is relevant today and the Bible will lead you to him.

No.

It’s full of some universal truths like the Golden Rule which are already present in pretty much every free society.

It has some very messed up rules.. like dictating what consenting adults should and should not do with their private parts.

It depicts many attrocities which are incompatible with a modern free society.

There is little corroborating evidence that most of the events depicted ever happened at all.

It never was.

Always is relevant, just because the West gets less Christian doesn't mean God's word should be forgotten.

Unquestionably yes. Other responders might say the bible is false; full of contradictions, inconsistencies, anachronisms, blah, blah, blah. Be that as it may, the bible has had a tremendous influence on western civilization. The bible is relevant for that reason alone. Much great art alludes to the bible. If you don't know the allusions, your appreciation, understanding of a novel, painting or architecture is not up to the level it could be.
To be culturally literate, you must have at least a passing familiarity with the bible.

Yes...as it is intended only for those of The True Church commissioned by The Creator God.... and those honestly seeking to be..... it is very relevant........ for those for those whom the Bible is not intended.... there is no need for them to bother with it

The desire for eternal happiness can't easily be abandoned. Theology based Christian beliefs is relevant today as opposed to superstition based beliefs. Superstition is not based on reason. There are many Christian based charities, hospitals, and universities. Sure we can have these things without the need to be inspired by religious faith, but religious faith is the most sustainable source of motivation for donors and workers to proceed on what they believe in even without the expectation of ever getting paid in life.

WITHOUT A DOUBT.........WITHOUT GOD'S HOLY WORD.........MANY WOULD BE LOST, AS SO MANY ARE.

Stories and examples of how to live one's life are always relevant.

Yes. My discovery of mankind mis-translating the scripture that makes up the first five Books of The Bible due to our lack of scientific knowledge to properly interpret the advanced scientific knowledge contained in this ancient Biblical text now proves this advanced scientific knowledge didn't originate from the unscientific minds of ancient sheep herders but from the advanced scientific mind of our Intelligent Designer named the God of Abraham. Modern science will now force mankind to reinterpret this scripture back into the scientific text it's always been based on from the unscientific religious interpretations we still think they mean today. This new scientific translation of Biblical text will supersede all previous religious translations of this Biblical text ever published or handed down orally. This will prove The Bible is still relevant today as it was the first time our Intelligent Designer spoke these words to mankind.
