如果在2004年，因一時大意被朋友放左2支大蔴在袋裡，被發現，當時不想供朋友出嚟，因為佢女兒好細，我認左罪罰款。無事，請問到現在十幾年還會有案底嗎？會有什麼影響呢，我咁多年仲係好擔心呢個問題，謝謝幫忙解答?

1. Mostly yes.

If this is your only conviction (i.e. no other criminal record), in most of the case, you are considered rehabilitated and no longer required to report such conviction.

Still, the record is permanently in nature. You are still required to report the conviction when it involves any government or profession.

For example, if you look for an office job in private sector, you need not to report the record. But if you look for an offfice in the public sector, then you are required to report the record.

2. Criminal records can impact in many instances. Usually, it will increase the difficulty of a person seeking employment and traveling outside.
