My SAAB 92x was such a trustworthy vehicle. Best car I've ever had. What about you?

My Ford F-150, 4x4. Now, it was expensive, I got the extra tow package, some bells and whistles, and buy expensive big meaty tires. It is not economical, at all. But. In winter, I can drive any road, plowed or not, drive thru water on street after a rain, haul anything, tow a trailer with a tractor, equiptment, or even another car on it .I've had it 12 years, the best vehical I've ever owned. :)

Hyundai Tucson. I’ve had it for about 12 years. I got 200,000 miles on it, and I’ll probably get to close to 300,000 before it’s all said and done.

Only bought my first car in 2010.
Dad has had a Citroen 2CV from brand new (the year I was born) it is still going strong. 130,000 miles and counting.

That would have to be my 1968 Dodge D200 pickup truck. It took a lickin', but kept on ticking! Drove it to work every day for nearly four years, and can only remember changing the oil once. Had to replace the starter and alternator after driving home to Spokane through the Mt St Helens volcano ashfall in 1980, but the engine never hesitated or stumbled. When I sold it it had nearly 200,000 miles and was still going strong.

My 2010 Dodge Challenger R/T...bought it new and it now has over 125,000 miles and still running great with only very minimal repairs: oil/fluid changes, tires, battery and brakes. Going for 200,000 miles next!

My Honda Civic, I love it.

So far it's been my 2009 Honda Accord. The only time it's seen the inside of a mechanic's garage is for oil and tire changes and routine maintenance.

VW golf GTi. Reasonable to service and never broke down. Utterly reliable. Think it had done 115k miles when I traded it in.

Not sure what I think about them now there’s been the hoo-ha over them fiddling the exhaust figures though.

A used 1985 Chrysler station wagon I bought for $50.
And sold for $200, I drove it for 4 yrs and never changed the oil.
Couldn't kill it, it's probably still running somewhere.

Japanese cars are always reliable and mercedes benzes. We had only those, but my husband never had any car for more than 5 years and always buys them new, so i dont know. But during 5 years neither of those ever had any problems. We have two cars always - one for each. My first car was citroen c3 - that was a crappy car. Never ever i will buy a frwnch car. Always smth wrong with electrics and engine temperature to hot all the time when it was a new car and checked hundred times for engine temp.
