Can americans get married at the resorts in Cuba?
I’m thinking about doing a destination wedding. Cuba has some really nice resorts. I keep getting conflicting information when i google information about getting married there. And it seems like most of the info regarding destination weddings in Cuba come from Canadian or UK sites. I thought I might have read somewhere that Americans aren’t permitted to stay and vacation in the resorts. Any advice?

Why would you even attempt this? When you get married in another country, there are 2 sets of laws that apply, and part of the problem here is that Cuba has been giving out conflicting info on their end. This is probably because they're still writing laws on it.
Just ditch this idea. Cuba is a place I would love to visit, and it's on my bucket list, but there is no way I'd plan a wedding there. It's also more complex for your guests in terms of what they'd need.
The easiest island is Puerto Rico, because you don't need a passport. Just a DL or valid ID. If you're inviting guests and want them to travel to the Caribbean, make it easy on them.
Wedding marquee hire in Cuba
Arrrgh... just get married at home, and then go on a honeymoon.
Your families and friends aren't going to want to camp out in Cuba.
It's really not part of the same universe you are thinking of. And God forbid you should need to contact them later.
Find someplace less political.
Well maybe they can legally get married.
Traveling to Cuba is still very hard to do. There a lot of restrictions on going to Cuba. Having a destination wedding is not one of them. I google Americans traveling to Cuba.
There are very nice places in the caribbean to get married.
I googled cheap places for destination wedding in the caribbean.
Here a few places they said are cheaper to have a destination wedding.
Curacaco
Trinidad & Tobago, they said only few hotels do weddings
Costa Rica
Martinque
Belize
How about Puerto Rico, I am sure they could use the business of people going for destination weddings after still recovering from Hurricane Maria.
Cuba still have a lot of restrictions for American traveling there.
I would look at a place without as many restrictions for traveling to the country for Americans.
It does not matter who, it matter that they have many restrictions for americans traveling there
