He's thought outside the box YUUUUGELY! Oh, yes - no one thinks more outside the box than he... Part of the problem these days is understanding the box (or the business) you're in - and realizing that while there's room for innovation, there's also (probably) a reason why people have had success doing it a certain way all along. Thinking outside the box if fine. Throwing the box away altogether without checking the contents can be disastrous.
