Would you reply to someone who kept giving short answers in texts ?

If the person is a good friend, I would continue to reply knowing that there response will be quick. Yes, that would annoy me but if they are worth my time I would be satisfied that they at least replied. I don't know that I would bring it to there attention that I don't like short answers like that because you don't want to force them into texting more than they want to text. My other solution is, if you need/want a more detailed response then I would call them or speak to them in person rather than send a text.

Yes, but I would be a SmartA55 about it, so they get the HINT.

"Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I'm a slow reader and it me some time to get thru your book (text)".

If they continue to BORE me... I make new friends or contacts.
