How do I watch DVDs on my laptop?

2018-07-12 8:54 am
I have tried to insert the movies on my laptop but nothing happens. It has worked over a year ago but now I am unable to watch anything.
I have a Toshiba laptop that is over six years old and it is not damaged.

Hardware is perfectly fine, that is given; the problem is Video/Film Industry version of RIAA, you know the one sued Napster; the story is long and really besides the point.

Reinstall the DVD-watching software should put back in the proper decoder software, why Film Industry saw it fit to charge this I have no idea, if I hold a DVD disc and see it, I obviously rented or buy the film and license that it should have, so paying for decoder seems just wrong.

Windows 10 don't come with it so to lighten the license fee, that means you always need to install the DVD-watching software, be that PowerDVD, Nero Suite, or whatever.

If your media player software is o.k then your DVD player is faulty

The DVD player software is corrupted in some way. Download & install some DVD player/burner application.
