第一句
"like" (像) 是一個介詞,所以必須後跟名詞或名詞短語或代詞。
examples:
1. I am like my father. (Q. Who are you like?)
2. Paris is like a rose garden. (Q. What is Paris like?)
As you can see, the question word must be a pronoun, "what" or "who".

Where are you like? (it is hence not grammatical) (X)

你像在哪裡?
Where do you seem/feel like to be? (Where are you like to be? - not idiomatic)
I seem like to be in heaven.
I feel like being in heaven.

第二句
"like" (喜歡) 是一個及物動詞,所以必須跟一個賓語。
examples:
1. I like apples. (Q. What do you like?)
2. I like Paris. (Q. What city do you like?)
As you can see, the question word must be a pronoun, "what" or "which".

"where" 是一個副詞,用於表達 在什麼地方或情況 (in or to what place or situation)。
1. I live "in" Canada. (Q. Where do you live?)
2. I am going "to" Hong Kong. (Q. Where are you going?)
3. I am fine. (Q. Where are you up to?)
As you can see, "where" cannot be used with a transitive verb.

Where do you like? (it is hence not grammatical) (X)

你喜愛哪裡?
What place do you like?
你喜愛 "去/住" 哪裡?
Where do you like to go/live? (go, live are intransitive verbs)

這二句話最重要的地方是:"like"的型態與意義.
like這字,
在第一句話裡面的型態是 preposition 詞 是 "像"的意思.
在第二句話裡面的型態是 動詞 是 "喜愛"的意思.

所以,第一句話的意思是:

你們像在哪裡?

第二句話的意思是:

你喜愛哪裡?
