Should I stretch my ears to keep it from closing?

I have been getting ear piercings on and off again for years. I can t count the amount of times my earhole closed. It s so annoying.

I want to try one last time and I was thinking if I stretch my earhole a bit it will be less likely to close. Is that true?

If it is true, what size I should get? I don t want it to be noticeably stretched or anything like those people that do body modifications. I want it to be as little as possible, so I can still wear regular earrings. What size do you recommend. I was thinking 2mm, but I m not sure if it s too small or big.

Thanks in advance and sorry if it s a stupid question. I don t know much about this.

The general rule with piercings is to keep the jewelry in if you want to keep the piercing.
You won't need to stretch the piercing if you just keep jewelry in it.
If you do decide to stretch the piercing, you won't be able to wear normal earrings without it shrinking back to a normal earring size again anyway.

I honestly don't know, but I think it may be bad for your ears
