Can an out of date passport be used to prove who I am?
Tomorrow I'm going to be seeing Ed Sheeran at Wembley Stadium. The only ID I have is an out of date passport. To get into the concert I need ID to prove who I am. Will they accept my out of date passport as proof of who I am?

An out of date passport is not a legal form of identification.
Expiration dates are put on there for a reason. An expired ID is no longer valid. It is possible they will not notice the expiration date and let you in. It is also possible they will refuse to let you in if they notice. The only one that can answer that is the guy checking IDs.
Nope. It is INVALID just like an expired license invalid.
They can, but I nor anyone else can tell if they will. Think of other things that identify you like credit cards in your name, or maybe a school ID.
Out of date is expired. What part of NOT VALID any more do you fail to understand?
Probably, but if I were you I'd phone the Stadium or the Promotors to check
I doubt they will look at the date just your picture, there will be thousands there.
