Solar panel battery charging curcuit?

For an upcoming project I will have a small 6V 0.1A solar panel and a battery to go with it. I want the electricity to be able to charge or discharge from the battery unless the battery is nearly full, in which case I would only want electricity to be able to discharge from it. I want to do this using a zener diode. If you can find or draw a simple circuit that'd be nice.

You need more than a zener diode to do this.
And I can't offer any help until you specify the battery type, and voltage and capacity. And how you plan to draw power from the battery. There are ICs that will control the charge rate into a battery.

What are the specs of the battery and the solar Panel.
Voltages, currents and Watts? Ah?
If you don't know them then give MFG Names and Part numbers.
