Why should others, stand for your anthem - especially if their soliders are fighting the same war?

When I was in America I stood out of fear. It's not my anthem, not my country, but the number of death threats I got the one time I didn't stand scared the fark out of me. Jingoism gone stupid.

If it is not your anthem, I don't give a $hit if you stand or not, this is not your country and I invite you to Fn leave.
ALL of our soldiers do stand and salute the flag at anthem. If they pulled that kneeling craap, they would get a court-martial.offense and dishonorable discharge.

because you would expect Americans to stand for YOURS if we were in your country. its a simple respect issue.

and FTR, yes we do respect other nationalities' anthems during public events in their country
