My arbor nut on my table saw is stuck?
I have a SKIL table saw, model 3305-01. I cannot get the nut to move. I can't get the blade off. It's not rusted. I've tried so hard the wrench is slipping and making marks on the nut(beginning to round the nut). It feels like it was welded. I used the saw and it works. Anybody got any ideas to break it loose? I really need to change the blade. Thanks

It has backward threads. Turn it the other way.
It is probably clockwise to loosen, saws have different threads, my radial arm saw in clockwise to loosen.
Try turning the nut in the opposite direction. Some have left hand threads
Left hand threads, lefty tighty righty loosie. Use a good wrench, those thin wrenches that come with table saws aren't much good.
