YAHOO MAIL ACCT CANNOT BE ACCESSED??

So I va created this account, my very first yahoo account actually, and I am trying to open it. I think I typed the correct password for it was asking me to verify and type the code that they will text me. Unfortunately, I have lost that number years ago. It said pick an option when there is only one option what the actual ****. The only option was for me to type the code to be sent by Yahoo. Really???? I need to access my mail so please help me. What else can I do to access it? I really think I typed the right password but the Yahoo Security s making me not access my OWN account ugh.
