I am interested in seeing that movie.
interested在本句是主詞補語,用「過去分詞」時,意思是本人「對某件事物有興趣」(即我被吸引了;用過去分詞有被動的意思,因interest是及物動詞,其過去分詞有被動的涵意)。
Seeing that movie is interesting.這時才用現在分詞當主詞補語。即某件事物很有趣(表示主動:吸引人)。
You are very interesting. = You are very funny.=你很有趣(或可笑)。

She left the house whistling.=他吹著口哨離開家的。=She left the house while she was whistling.
whistling在邏輯上的主詞是本句的主詞she,所以用表示主動的「現在分詞」。
whistling是修飾述部的「修飾語」,屬副詞性質。

Utterly exhausted, they fell asleep at once.
= Because they were utterly exhausted, they fell asleep at once.
用過去分詞,有被動的意思。

I am interested in seeing that movie. 本句用interested過去分詞,因interest屬情緒動詞是被動用法主動意思,in seeing that movie係介詞片語當副詞修飾interested

She left the house , whistling. 應加一逗號當現在分詞修飾其前主要子句,完整寫法She left the house and smiled. 因爲whistling與house無關係,其邏輯主詞是she

(1)seeing that movie-----adverb clause of manner
modify the subject "I" in
I'm interested in.
interested adj,= interested (in)=having an interest in, taking an interest in
(2)She, whistling ,-------------present participle used adjectivally qualifying the noun "she"
left the house. If used in past tense, then:-She whistled and left the house.
