Nope, fascism is far-right. Unless it is combined with Marxism.
Mussolini, Hitler = Fascism = far right
Stalin, Mao = Communist = far left
I could see why Reagan said this. No one wants to associate with those extreme ideologies so they put it on the other side.

No, he was wrong, and indulging in doublespeak. Thats like saying war is peace or freedom is slavery. Just look at what is happening now, we are moving closer to fascism every day and who is in charge? An authoritarian conservative who is complaining about freedom of the press. He recently said "You have to stand proudly for the national anthem, or you shouldn't be in this country". Now...thats the beginning of fascism, right there.
We all know that famous warning: "“When fascism comes to America, it will come wrapped in the flag and waving a cross”
no read history fascism is the GOP right wing. Poor ronney was demented
No, that's the sort of thing real fascists say.
Sigh....no it's not the liberals tearing children away from their parents, dear. Get real.
Ronald Reagan was easily confused. Fascism is a right wing ideology. That would be like saying the left will now support the right wing.
you really are as fukking dumb as you sound now i fukking know
read the history of wwII, and even more importantly try reading about the Spanish civil War,, try ******* learning facts to stupid ignorant dumb bastard, or are you an illiterate who can't understand how to read?, that kind of dumb statement is offensive
Yes , there is more censorship and opposing free speech on the left.
He could have been right. He started out as a liberal and then moved to the dark side.
you gotta ask micchael moore
There are two kinds of fascism. I think fascism of the left is generally called totalitarian. Fascism of the past is definitely linked with (supposed) conservatism. But not in principles. Oppression would be a better word than fascism.
