Not the graphics inside the laptop. But many gaming laptops are coming with an external GPU case, where you can plug them into a desktop graphics card. Those would be upgradeable as long as you want.

What Starrysky said, some have MXM sized cards in them, but the vast majority of laptops have the graphics chip integrated with the CPU.

Generally, no. To save money, everything is soldered directly onto the motherboard. Even if there were a way to open the laptop, you wouldn't be able to remove the components any ways.

While I've seen a few laptops offered an "upgrade", it was just a choice between a lower end and higher end card. If you were considering the "upgrade", there was no reason to not just not buy the more expensive card in the first place, rather than buy both the lower end AND THEN buy the higher end card later on.

HI No sorry unlike a desktop with removal cards the laptop is what you have when purchased on the whole. very few now have any sort of plug in parts. graphic arrays tend to be part and parcel of the whole mother board.

Maybe, I had a portable workstation that has its service manual public, its Quadra was sitting on an MXM module. That's upgradable, though I have no interest in this area further, whether it is really upgradable I have no idea..

As for whether or not it worth the trouble, that's resounding no.

Almost always, no.
