A highly concentrated ammonia solution is found to have a pH of 12.08. What is the hydroxide concentration, [OH-(aq)] in mol L-1?
回答 (3)
pOH = pKw - pH = 14.00 - 12.08 = 1.92
-log[OH⁻] = pOH
log[OH⁻] = -1.92
Then, [OH⁻] = 10⁻¹˙⁹² mol L⁻¹ = 0.0120 mol L⁻¹ (to 3 sig. fig.)
Whatever you do, don't drink it!
