To choose one of the 12 face cards out of 52 cards, probability
= 12/52
= 3/13

After choosing one card, there are 51 cards left.
To choose one the 4 aces out of the 51 cards left, probability
= 4/51

P(choosing a face card and then an ace)
= (3/13) × (4/51)
= (1/13) × (4/17)
= 4/221

The answer: A) 4/221
