(C) To draw the methyl butane, first draw butane (straight chain, C4H10). Now replace one of the hydrogens on the 2nd carbon with a methyl (CH3). Simple!
(A) First draw the 2-pentene. That's a chain of 5 carbons, where the 2nd and 3rd carbons have a double bond, so each of them has only one hydrogen. Now replace the H on the 2nd carbon with a methyl (CH3), and also replace one of the 2 hydrogens on the 4th carbon with a methyl (CH3).
(B) As in (A), draw the 2-hexene first. A chain of 6 carbons with a double bond between the 2nd and 3rd, so that each of those carbons has only one hydrogen. Now replace the single hydrogen on the 3rd carbon with a methyl (CH3), and replace one of the 2 hydrogens on the 4th carbon with an ethyl (C2H5).
