2018-05-06 4:58 am

Yes, a number of times. For a number of reasons: pay was too low, hours too long, mandatory overtime, work conditions (dangerous or dirty), boss asking for sex all the time.

Yes because I had another one lined up that paid better or was more fun or whatever

I've been fortunate to like all my jobs over the years, so never quit because I was running from something. I did quit summer internships to go back to school, which was fully expected. I actually liked customers in my job, which was technical. My largest gains in salary and position were on account of taking good care of customers.

yup i just quit my job 2 weeks ago. was tired of all the drama and all the work i put in for the lack of appreciation and pay. when i say drama people tell me "their is always going to be drama" yea that is true but trust me you ain't know shet about work drama until you've worked at this place.

i was getting paid $13 and thats nothing in my field. once i started looking i easily got offers for $17-20 for starting for the same job. $17 is what this sous chef currently makes i mean yea you get to put that on your title but honestly being a sous chef at that restaurant isn't really anything your basically just a line cook with extra prep. the sous chefs at that restaurant have the easiest job of all people which is basically just calling orders and plating the dishes the rest is all prep work the rest of us can do and we do. tbh it was like working at a slightly more upscale fast food restaurant majority of the food were all pre cooked except the fish all we did was heat it up.

i also just found out one of the celeb chefs from my state actually hates our head chef because "he stole his recipe" he apparently stole this guys cake recipe and yes it is legal xD but tbh his cake isn't even amazing it's dry

I've quit a job twice......both times for a better position and more money.

Yes because it was long hours (including a nearly 2 hour commute each way) for barely more than minimum wage.
It was also stressful because my girlfriend at the time and I worked in the same department ALSO we lived together.

Suffice to say our relationship ended not long thereafter. Part of me felt bad / guilty but there was too much going on.

Yes. When I was an apprentice it got to be too much for me.

The long hours, not seeing my family much, not sleeping properly and my boss mentally pushed me to my absolute limit.
2018-05-05 9:12 am
Yes. Life goes on and you find one better that you may want to stick with.
2018-05-05 9:08 am
Yes, because the boss was annoying me
2018-05-05 9:07 am
yes because I was moving out of town
2018-05-05 9:05 am
Yes. I quit when I left my hometown to go to university. I also quit when I was very sick so that I could focus on getting better.
2018-05-05 9:02 am
