If Iran is so strong then why don't they attack Israel already?

Israel does have tactical nuclear weapons. So directly attacking them would be a distinctly bad idea.

Besides, Iran doesn't really stand much to gain from attacking Israel, and a lot to lose. I am pretty sure they know that.

Because the entire world knows if you attack Israel you attack the United States and the Western Allies. Just like if Trump and Bolton find a good excuse to attack Iran they’ll have to deal with Russia and China backing Iran. It’s no small thing, it’s a perfect beginning to WWIII.
