What are your opinions on this do you think Jesus can save us?

Jesus saved faithful humans when he gave his life as a ransom sacrifice. (Matthew 20:28) Thus, the Bible calls Jesus the “Savior of the world.” (1 John 4:14) It also states: “There is no salvation in anyone else, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must get saved.”—Acts 4:12.

Jesus ‘tasted death for everyone’ who exercises faith in him. (Hebrews 2:9; John 3:16) Thereafter, “God raised him up from the dead,” and Jesus returned to heaven as a spirit creature. (Acts 3:15) There, Jesus is able “to save completely those who are approaching God through him, because he is always alive to plead for them.”—Hebrews 7:25.

Why do we need Jesus to plead for us?
We are all sinners. (Romans 3:23) Sin puts a barrier between us and God, and it leads to death. (Romans 6:23) But Jesus serves as “an advocate” for those who exercise faith in his ransom sacrifice. (1 John 2:1, footnote) He pleads in their behalf, asking God to hear their prayers and grant forgiveness of their sins on the basis of Jesus’ sacrificial death. (Matthew 1:21; Romans 8:34) God acts on such pleas made by Jesus because they are in harmony with His will. God sent Jesus to the earth “for the world to be saved through him.”—John 3:17.

According to Biblical scriptures, Jesus took upon himself the sins of the world, so that whosoever believeth in him, shall have eternal life. Jesus proclaimed, "I am the light, and the way. No one comes to the Father except through me. Thereby declaring that there is no other Saviour except Jesus Christ, Son of God.

Jesus is the ONLY way humanity can be saved. He died to atone for the sins of the world and has secured a free pardon for every person who repents and turns to God and acknowledges Jesus as Lord. For all who come to saving faith in Him, their sins are forgiven and, if they belong to Jesus and have experienced the new, spiritual rebirth, then Jesus becomes their advocate and mediator between them and God.

Jesus' Hebrew name Yeshua translates into Greek as Iésous. This is the name that the angel Gabriel commanded Joseph to name Mary’s child: “You are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21). The name Jesus means “The Lord Saves” or “The Lord Is Salvation.”

Only by belonging to Christ Jesus and obeying Him can we be spared the wrath that is to come and be assured of our salvation.

Save us from what? War? Pestilence? Famine? Hatred? Natural disasters? He hasn't shown any inclination so far to save us from anything. Some mythical idea of eternity in paradise does not equate to "saving" us. If there was a benevolent, omniscient and omnipotent god, we wouldn't have all the things I mentioned. But we do, so there is no benevolent, omniscient and omnipotent god whether you call it Jesus or Baal.

The Bible has made it clear that Jesus is our only saviour because he has the power to forgive sins.He is the image of God and all the diety of God is in him.He is God.

You seem to believe. That's nice, but I don't as if he was the savior he has done nothing since he was presented by the books which were selected and edited by the church to create the bible.

Compare this scripture you have just quoted with Isaiah chapter 45 I am Jehovah and besides me there is no savior! The very name Jesus means Jehovah is salvation! The Bible further chose you whosoever shall call upon the name of Jehovah shall be saved! Can Jesus save you? He can if you start following his example and start calling upon the name of Jehovah! Some people say that Jesus didn't use the Divine name! Again the very name Jesus means Jehovah is salvation! Jesus said that I have come to make known my father's name! Back to your question can Jesus save you? That depends on you friend are you willing to throw out the generic God the generic Lord that you've been worshipping for your whole life? And instead pick up the name Jehovah the one the only savior and lift his name up high and proud and shout it in the enemy's face as often as you see the enemy?

If you're willing to do this then Jesus can save you! If not the enemy is going to whoop your butt!

Yes, but only if you do what He commands. He commanded you be baptized for the removal of your sins (Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-16, John 3:5) and commanded His apostles to say the same (Acts 2:38, Acts 22:16, Rom 6:1-6, Galatians 3:27, 1Peter 3:20-21).

A person can know many truths about the saving grace of Jesus Christ by reciting the rosary carefully every day.

All that was 2000 years ago, how can it possibly apply to today.
I keep seeing the same scriptures repeated over and over, do people not even think about this stuff anymore or is it robotic parroting.

Jesus can save us because he is life, not because he's begging the Father not to kill us. The "penal substitution" theory of atonement doesn't hold much water.

In reference to your second paragraph, "God raised him up from the dead", read this from John 2 v. 19 -- Jesus answered and said to them, "Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up." Who will raise it up?
It sounds like you're misunderstanding who Jesus Christ is. He's God in the flesh, that is, as a man. He is our permanent 'High Priest' to the Almighty Invisible God. As Paul says in the first chapter of Colossians, "He is the image of the invisible God."
Many people are confused about this.
As we know God in heaven we say God the Father, and as we know him as a man on earth we say God the Son, but what 'man' walked on water?
So, yes, he can save us.
There's only one Creator, and all powers are subject to him, even evil.
But God is all light, and his love and mercy endure forever. Christians, those who accept Christ as Lord, have forgiveness of sins through him.
