Did you still feel like a kid at 18?

I don’t feel like I’m an adult? It hasn’t even really hit me I’m graduated and old enough to move out (which I’m saving up for) and have my own car. I’m just kinda going with it lol even with my own car I don’t feel mature at all

I'm WAY older than you and I still don't feel like a grown-up. I feel like a 20 year old guy trapped in an old man's body. I'm retired today but when I was working I didn't feel grown-up enough to have the jobs I had ('engineer', 'programmer', 'manager'). I always had the fear of being 'discovered'. "Hey! He's not the well-trained, experienced professional we thought we hired! He's just a KID! And old kid, but still a kid! It's OBVIOUS!"

I really think for most of us, life is just 'faking it'. I got an education, a job, a promotion, a raise, a NEW job, all because people didn't see how dumb I was all along!
