I want to take my car for service (regular).

When I arrive at the place, what do I say?
Can I say:
"I want to get a service for my car."
Thank you.

In the US: My car needs service. You may need an appointment. Look for their website.

"My car needs its regular service." should do the job.

What you have said is probably understandable, but it is awkward.

My way in Britain would normally be: "I would like a service for my car", or maybe "Could you do a service on my car?" I might then be asked if I wanted a "full service" or a cheaper option.
