Me and my gf have been together for a long time now. However, I only recently learned that she has oral herpes. Does it immediately follow that I have oral herpes?

Everybody have Herpes - it mostly shows up at a weak immune system or with stress. MSM (organic sulphur) can keep them quiet.

No, it’s not automatic, you have to be exposed to active lesions with virus.
