As heat is absorbed from the flask into the endothermic reaction, the flask will be cooler than before the reaction started.

endothermic means taking in heat (endo=inward). The flask would likely feel cooler, perhaps cold. Fire is an exothermic reaction (gives off heat, exo=outward), the opposite of endothermic.
