The implications of gun ownership are multifaceted. Those who stressed only the people on people crimes are totally missing the point. The spirit of second amendment, at least at the time, was way beyond the civil crimes but on the issue of controlling the governments. Ballot is indeed a good way for the people to control the governments. However, the elite class has learned their lessons. They learned how to control the media and to lie to the people. Many so-called democratic governments in this world have proven that ballots alone are ineffective.

There are many fake democratic governments controlling their voting machines just to maintain their powers. We need more safety nets to prevent the government from going bad. Gun ownership with voting power and free press is the key to maintain true democracy. That alone, in comparison to a few deaths although innocent and regrettable, is much more important to the foundation of our nation.

Please look at the history of each nation - it is not hard to find that bad governments (bad policies and oppression against their own people and neighbors) killed more people than those by gun violence (or people against people).

In order to deal with crime, it is necessary to prohibit the usage of firearms,by criminal act so as to reduce or getting rid of crime.
As we knew that the civilized people don't engage in bad habit or even drug- trafficking,.while on the other hands,most of the drug dealers smuggle heroin into elsewhere. In view of that, the authorities should do something about, otherwise,the condition will be get worse.Then, they ought to organize a policy to deal with, namely,custom will forfeit any illegal drugs and police will implement gun control.by means of issuing licence to real users or gun-club. Nevertheless, that seemed to me not enough and there should be laws to be enforced or be gazetted.. In case if all these measures couldn't deal with then I would like to suggest something about fine or in gaol or jail. Yip
