Reactive Distillation – combining Chemical Reaction and Distillation process?

Sometimes, the reaction mixture is heated and the product is distilled off at the same time. However, such process does not have specific name.

For example, ethanal is produced when ethanol is heated with acidified potassium dichromate.
CH₃CH₂OH + [O] → CH₃CHO + H₂O …… ([O] from acidified potassium dichromate)
During the reaction, the ethanal produced is distilled off to prevent further oxidation to ethanoic acid.
