4/5 x 60 = 48

If that isn't clear, think about how many blocks of 5 workers divide into 60:
60/5 = 12,

In each of the 12 blocks, 4 will be married

12 x 4 = 48.

Number of married workers employed by the factory
= 60 × (4/5)
= 48

If 4 out of every 5 are married, that means 4/5 of your population is married. To find out how many people are married in a population of 60, multiply 60 by 4/5

(60)(4/5) = 48 workers

So by given situation we deduce 48 are married for sure. Now out left 12 workers 9 of them are married. So answer should be 57

"Let the units help work the problem"

workers (married/workers) = married

60 workers (4 married/5 workers) = 48 married

Here's some examples of letting the units set up the problem:
參考: Here's a very short 2 minute video on how to work 'unit cancellation' and conversion problems. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jB-LaTGgq8 Note: In the problem above, I'll typically have the converter in (parens). Converters = (1)

Are you trying to get someone else to do your homework? Because that's what it seems to me. Why don't you open your math textbook?
