God's grace, that is the secret to all of this. God chose certain people, not necessarily Jews or Hebrews, who he practiced grace with. The ones who made it into the Bible aren't only those he did that with. They responded to God and reciprocated in the relationship. Today God acts by bringing certain people to Christ. Just like he brought people to him before.
