what is the angle of reflection when light enters parallel to the mirror?
回答 (4)
The reflected light is also parallel to the mirror.
Therefore, the angle of relection = 90°
how does it enter if it is parallel? parallel means there is no intersection between lines or planes.
If it is parallel to the mirror then it can never reach the mirror. Parallel lines can never get closer and never intersect.
Therefore there can be no reflected wave.
It is impossible to reflect if it is impossible to be incident.
The question is moot.
However if you take the calculus approach, as the angle of incidence APPROACHES 90 degrees then the angle of reflection also APPROACHES 90 degrees.
