360 degrees/365.25 days/year = 0.98563 degrees per day.

The Earth is orbiting the sun in counter clockwise direction when viewed from above the north pole.when using the Sun as the origin point of the coordinate system. The sun has has north rotational pole .

If you are using a different coordinate system, Earth Mmght be orbiting the Sun in a different direction..

It's very complicated. You'd have to figure out how many days Earth needs to complete an orbit.

The angular speed is = 360/365.25 = 9.8563E-01 deg/day.

The direction depends on your aspect. Are you looking down onto the N. pole or down onto the S. pole?
