the total volume of seawater is 1.5 x 10^21 L?
and on average it contains 3.1g of sodium chloride per 100g of seawater, with a density of 1.03 g/ml. calculate the total mass of sodium chloride in kilograms.
i can't figure out how to complete this question. any help is much appreciated -- please explain with steps rather than just tell me the answer, as i want to learn. thank you.

Density of seawater = (1.03 g/ml) × (1/1000 kg/g) × (1000 ml/L) = 1.03 kg/L
Mass of the seawater = (1.5 × 10²¹ L) × (1.03 g/ml) = 1.545 × 10²¹ kg
Total mass of sodium chloride = (1.545 × 10²¹ kg) × (3.1/100) = 4.8 × 10¹⁹ kg (to 2 sig. fig.)
