I've had the same experience many times.
The screen (shield) braid is fine copper wire.
A tiny piece of it can break off and get into your skin.
Since copper is one of the most reactive of the common metals,
almost as soon as it gets into you it begins to interact with your body chemistry,
producing an electrical signal that nerves pick up readily.
The remedy is finding the piece of metal and getting it out.
Extremely sharp (watchmaker's) tweezers and a strong magnifier can help,
or you might try a piece of very sticky tape to see if that will pull the wire out.
The crimping tool was improper used causing the crimped connector has sharp edge able to cut any skin by touching it hardly. Try one more time or change the tool to clamp again.
