關於英文watch用法的問題。?

(1) I had no fun watching Callie fall in love after we broke up.
(2) I had no fun to watch Callie fall in love after we broke up.

(1) and (2) 都是合理的句子.但是意義是有不同的.
(1)是著重於 "正在/已經(觀看)"
(2)是著重於 "要去/未來(觀看)"

所以(2) 會是用在 以下的狀況:

A: I heard that Callie is hanging out with the richest boy in town tonight. Do you want to snoop around?
B: Of course not! Can I have no fun to watch Callie to fall in love after we broke up.

watching ....是修飾述部had no fun的「分詞構句」，與述部是「同時」發生。符合句意邏輯。

to watch...是「不定詞」在當述部的修飾語時，通常會有表示「目的」的作用，即：in order to watch...，時間點較「晚」。不符本句的時序邏輯。

此句係省略介繫詞，還原本句應寫成 I had no fun in watching Callie fall in love after we broke up.
這種句型除了 fun還有trouble,difficulty,a difficult time,a hard time,a good time均是其後介詞in省略，用動名詞表經驗
