The verses do not indicate that Peter's shadow had any power to heal. The cross reference to those verses is Matthew 9:20, 21 which refers to a woman being cured of a flow of blood just by TOUCHING Jesus' garment. This indicates that there was an interchange of touch for healing to happen.

odd ? why did they never leave the middle east and heal all nations?,,god made a wholeworld filled with diffrent coultures,yet the whole bible and all its stories only take place in the middle east....thats why the bible is false book of fairy tales no mention of africans,myans,aztex,chinese.japanese,natives in the americas,.......

Jesus delegated divine power of healing to those closely associated with him in his ministry. When the 12 apostles were sent out, and later the 70 disciples, they were empowered to cure the sick.
After Pentecost of 33 C.E., certain ones, including Peter, John, Philip, and Paul, where given divine power to heal. It was important that the one performing the cure have full faith and confidence in Jehovah and acknowledge, as Jesus did, that the curing was accomplished by God's power.
