C is wrong because 'my leg was hurt' implies not ongoing pain but a single event in which your leg was hurt. If the pain was bad, the correct form is 'my leg was hurt badly/painfully last night'

D is wrong because 'got hurt' implies agency (as in 'got drunk' or 'got married'). 'My leg got hurt a lot' literally means that last night your leg repeatedly did things that caused it to be injured, which is unlikely.

For me it must be "My leg hurt a lot last night", since the pain would have been from an injury suffered at least several hours, possibly a day or more, earlier.

If the injury occurred during the night (maybe by falling out of bed) I would say "Last night I hurt my leg badly (and it is still painful this morning)". or something similar. That is possibly what you were thinking of by saying that C or D was correct.

It indeed is A.

My leg HURT (=WAS HURTING) a lot LAST NIGHT.

It should be B. Leg is singular so it needs a singular verb: hurts. In English, an s on a noun is plural but on a verb it’s singular.

My leg was hurt a lot isn’t correct usage. It should be was hurting.

My leg got hurt a lot last night means you did a lot of things to get your leg hurt.
