Hello everyone i have been working on my new AMD ryzen build for the past week now and i cannot get my computer to boot up there were no hdmi outout signal to my monitor.i have done multiple resets or reboots on my computer during first boot and the LEDs around the msi logo, the led behind the fan are all on. including the EZ debug LED. I still havent recieved my gpu but i already have the cpu psu ram and the mobo
specs:
Mobo:MSI B350M gaming pro
CPU:AMD ryzen 1600
psu:EVGA 500W broze non modular
ram:8gb hyper x fury (black)
gpu:Asus gtx 1050ti
P.S i also had tried using the coolmax 500 w power supply and only plugged in the 4 pin hole out of thr 8 pin hole for the cpu power
will a power off on a AMD CPU first boot result in any problems? There were never any hdmi output and ive waited for 30+mins for it to boot?

There are 2 problems here:
-You don't have the CPU power connected. You can't just leave empty power connectors on the motherboard like that. If your power supply doesn't have the right cables to connect to your hardware, it's not good enough to handle that hardware.
-You don't have a GPU. The video outputs on the motherboard are there to use the integrated GPU on your CPU, but the Ryzen 5 1600 doesn't have one. The only AMD CPUs that have integrated GPUs are their APUs, which is the A-series CPUs like the A10-9700 and the Ryzen G-series (Ryzen 3 2200G, Ryzen 5 2400G). You're trying to get a video signal from a chip that doesn't exist.

Your computer will not automaticlly boot to HDMI. You need to use VGA or DVI to start with. Then you can go in to settings and direct the graphics to use HDMI

Your processor doesn't have an embedded GPU, so attaching an HDMI cable to the motherboard HDMI will result in nothing happening. Wait for your video card to arrive, then all of your problems will be solved.
If you wanted a Ryzen with an embedded GPU, they are only just now coming out: the Ryzen 3 2200G, and Ryzen 5 2400G.
