Question for Christians?

When you accepted salvation, did you make any attempt to contact people you may have harmed in the past, to make amends, or at least apologise?

I know you can always find people from your past, but did you try?

I've never heard of Christians doing that. That's one of the steps in AA.

Nope. I was baptized for the removal of my sins and then started to live my life the best I could. The best thing I can do is be a good person as God commands.

Why would they because salvation is about being saved from sins committed against God, not the world?

The world is concerned with crime and crime is determined by their own man-made law systems and the breaking of them.

As a Christian who has been through a Christian regeneration program that was one of the very first things that I was taught you can't recover from addiction if you don't get rid of what's nagging you inside you know you have done something wrong and if you're not doing something about that wrong the addiction is going to come back so how to be a Christian is to go after the things that you have done wrong and if possible make restitution for them and then you'll stop running from yourself in escapists ways apparently you understand some of this

I've never done that but I have forgiven people who never apologized for hurting me by the grace of God

It's Christianity, not My Name is Earl

It happened. It's not like I sought anyone out. It's also not something set on my heart, or some kind of life purpose. But I did apologize as things came up. You know, just because you become a Christian doesn't mean you stop treating people wrong. Everything as a Christian is still steeped in life as usual, you just have extra reasons why not to be that way.

Some were very young when they accepted Jesus as they're Saviour. But it's not necessary to hunt down all you may had hurt. If you become saved, all your sins are forgiven and our new selves should shine, so that all should see our light as the noonday.

No one has salvation in this world. We sin all our lives, repent, and try again. We don't know whether we'll be given salvation till we die and meet our Maker.
