Do you know of anyone who kept a farm animal that is typical used for meat (such as a cow, pig, turkey or chicken) as a pet? Please describe?

Lots of people keep chickens for eggs rather than for meat. The chickens get so tame they're like pets.

Many people keep livestock as pets, including Pot Belly Pigs and chicken. Not so much cattle or turkeys I'd suggest.

You are talking domesticated animals here and yes, many have kept all the above for pets.
Pot belly pigs are common pets, cows are not uncommon, I have had a pet chicken and rabbit, part of our food stock. Never considered for food. My aunt had 2 cows, of course when they died naturally, they were taken to packers for the purpose of food.

No but I had a neighbor who regularly captured stray cats to eat them.
