I like to stay up late and sing, what's a job that will let me do that without coming to work dead?

Get a second or 3rd shift job. You may not be paid to sing while you work but there aren't any no singing rules that I know of. The difficult part is that some employers will allow you to have a radio in your area but ear buds or phones aren't allowed in most places for safety reasons, and because you have to be able to hear things around you that wearing phones or buds would prevent a person from hearing.
Some employers have those rules. I've had jobs where I was the only other person of 2 people in the plant for my shift and as long as the work and production was done they didn't care what I did otherwise.

Keep dreaming snowflake. You don't want to work. You want mommy and daddy to pay you to do nothing but sleep. Your destined to live in a cardboard box in an alley.

Not many places hire people under 16.

Stand on the street corner and sing and put a jar for tips out. Look needy or homelees and ignore the druggys.

A "step up" means more work, more thinking, more productivity - not less. However your dad (and you) are right in wanting to step up! Good luck!
