關於英文with the United States joining 的文法問題。?

此句會使用joining是因為who joined 省略變成joining的原因嗎？

不是.使用joining本來就比較使用who joined要來得好.
關係 子句 會讓 句子結構 變得複雜. 要是能夠避免的話,最好避免.


難怪我去你家的時候看到一堆破鍋子. 看來,你需要一些比較好的鍋子.
至於 句子的結構:

"with the United States joining the noncommunist south , who lost in 1975"
應該是 <副詞片語> 用來描述 "followed"

"who" 當然是指 South.

另外的一個寫法是:

as the US joined the non-communist South, who ...

運用連接詞(as)來 連接附屬子句.

至於你的建議寫法:

with the United States who joined the noncommunist south , who lost in 1975.

就是很大的錯誤了. 因為 醬子就變成 一個沒有意義的名詞片語了.
看起來 你又多了一個破鍋子了.

1. 為什麼"副詞片語"描述 "followed"
我認為"with the United States joining the noncommunist south"是在描述 "followed"的背景.所以應該是副詞.
另一種說法是 "with the United States joining the noncommunist south"是在描述 "The Vietham Civil War"的背景.所以應該是主詞捕語.

2. 其後面的join不是joined-with the United States joined...

我沒說過"with the United States joined" 我是說過: "as the US joined "
AS 是連接詞 用來連接 2 句. with 不是連接詞,所以不能用 joined.
