Deep sedation vs General Anesthesia?
My dentist wrote General Anesthesia - Deep sedation on the list of what I will be getting during my wisdom teeth removal on Wednesday. Does this mean laughing gas and IV sedation? Or just the IV?

General anesthesia, I assume, is the numbing agent in your gums.
Deep sedation is the IV that puts you to sleep.
Laughing gas is laughing gas, its neither of these things.
Just the one, they don't do both at the same time.
with me I had general anesthesia during oral surgery. The nurse wanted to give me laughing gas first to relax me I told her no. Then they put the iv in and thats pretty much the end of the story.
If you get an IV you don't need laughing gas.
it means you will be put too sleep
