Is the NFL a dying league?

Nope
Still the most popular and valuable pro sports league in the US
Income is up, profits are up and the cap is going up. If that's dying, sign me up.
It's not going anywhere any time soon.
Not likely.
Yes TV ratings were down slightly but that has happened before only to rebound.
And even with slightly lower TV ratings, profits have increased for the league and on a team basis.
The NFL will remain the king of professional sports in the US for decades to come.
No, they are still the top sport, in America.
No, it just had a few hiccups this season, hardly anything to go to the doctor or morgue for.
I still love the sport of football the best but in another 5 -10 years there will be a somewhat decline in the sport even more because a lot of parents doesn't want to influence there kids to play football because of head injuries and other factors
A player could be a good WR , RB , CB , LB and get above average to good stats and get a 5 - 6 million dollar year salary and NFL money isn't guaranteed like MLB and NBA is and those league pay decent mid level starters at least 5 - 9 million dollars year and without as much risk to injuries from a sport and the lack of parity in the NFL with the same team winning championship (Patriots) nearly each year make the league downhill currently but the NFL has to reinvent itself to some level to get back to uphill stat for the views and sport
Possibly. I does have some worrisome maladies going on.
If it's not dying, it's got severe CTE symptoms (like the users who are thumbing this down).
